Mustard-seed Faith

Someone once said, “The earthly economy is transacted on currency, but the heavenly economy is transacted on faith.” How God works is often based on your faith. Many times, Jesus looked out for faith in the sick person to see if he/she had faith to be healed.  When Jesus saw that faith, He healed them. An example of this is from Mark 2:5, When Jesus saw his faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven you." Subsequently, the paralytic was healed of his disability. God is willing to do the miraculous, but He is waiting for you to exercise your faith to believe Him for the miracle.

The question is, how much faith is enough to do the work of God? The answer is found in Luke 17:6, Jesus said, If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, “Be uprooted and planted in the sea,” and it will obey you.

Sometimes, we have this barrier in our minds that it requires a lot of effort to believe God for something, and we feel we do not have that kind of faith. This is not true because the Bible tells us that we only need to have faith as small as a mustard seed, and we can move the mountain. How small is a mustard seed? It is something so small that it is almost impossible to pick with our bare hands. God said that if we only have that kind of faith, the miracle will happen.

Today, as you sow into the Vision Faith Promise, I urge you to have mustard-seed faith to believe God to provide for you financially. How is God going to provide?  He will provide day-by-day. He is asking you to trust Him day-by-day, and as you put your faith in God, the miracle will happen.
